My Notes
Frequently asked questions
How are my notes saved?
Automatically, in your browser, as you type. There is no save button and no account — your notes stay on your device until you choose to share a set.
What can a note contain?
Free text plus checkbox to-do lists, bullet and numbered lists, headings, a horizontal divider, bold/italic/strikethrough/underline, links, and link-preview cards. The first line becomes the note’s title.
How does sharing work?
Press Share to upload the current set and get a 5-character code / link. Anyone who opens it gets the notes as a new tab on their device. It is a snapshot that re-uploads when you edit a shared set — not live, multi-cursor editing.
What are the tabs at the top?
Each tab is a note-set. You always have your own “My Notes”. When you open someone’s code (or share yours), it shows as another tab you can switch between.
If two people edit a shared set, what happens?
The newest version is kept (last write wins on the whole set). Switch to a set, or reopen it, to pull the latest copy.
Is it free and private?
Completely free, no signup, no ads in the way. Nothing leaves your browser until you share, and shared links aren’t indexed by search engines.
