Which formats can I convert between?
Output is PNG, JPG or WebP. Input can be any of those plus HEIC / HEIF (iPhone photos), GIF, BMP and AVIF — anything your browser can decode.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes — drop a batch, pick one output format, and download them all as a zip. Each file also has its own download button.
Will it reduce the file size?
Often, yes — converting PNG to JPG or WebP, lowering quality, or resizing all shrink the file. The card shows the size change for each image. PNG output is lossless and ignores the quality slider.
Does converting to JPG lose transparency?
JPG can’t store transparency, so transparent areas are flattened onto white. Use PNG or WebP if you need to keep an alpha channel.
Can I resize while converting?
Yes. Set “Max edge” to cap the longest side in pixels, or “Scale” to shrink by a percentage. It never upscales beyond the original.
Is it private?
Completely — decoding and re-encoding happen in your browser on your device. No image is ever uploaded, and there’s no signup.
