What it does

Convert images between PNG, JPG and WebP — and bring in HEIC / HEIF, GIF, BMP or AVIF on the input side. Convert a single image or a whole batch, tune quality, optionally resize, and download each file or a single zip.

How it works

• Decode — most formats decode natively in the browser; HEIC / HEIF is converted first with heic2any (lazy-loaded, so non-HEIC users never download it).
• Resize — an optional canvas resample caps the longest edge or scales by a percentage (never upscaling) with high-quality smoothing.
• Re-encode — the canvas re-encodes to your chosen format via canvas.toBlob. JPG is matted onto white since it has no alpha channel; PNG is lossless.
• Download — grab each result individually, or a zip of the whole batch.

Private by design

Every step runs locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server — there’s no account and nothing leaves your device.
