About Notes
What it does
A fast, private notes app — like Apple Notes in your browser. Keep as many notes as you like, each with checkbox to-do lists, bullet and numbered lists, headings, links and link previews. Everything saves automatically on your device, and you can share a whole set with a short code.
How it works
- Notes — tap New note to add one; tap a note to open it full-screen. The first line becomes its title. Changes autosave.
- Rich content — the toolbar has checklists, ordered/unordered lists, bold, italic, strikethrough, underline, headings, a horizontal line, links and link previews.
- Sets & tabs — your notes live in one set (“My Notes”). Open someone’s code and it appears as another tab you can switch to.
- Share by code — Share uploads the current set and gives you a 5-character code / link. Anyone who opens it gets the notes on their device.
Sharing is a snapshot
Sharing is a one-time copy that re-uploads when you edit a shared set — it is not live, multi-cursor collaboration. If two people edit the same set, the newest version is kept. Open or switch to a set to pull its latest copy.
Private by design
Your notes are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded until you press Share, and shared ?code= links are marked no-index so they never show up in search results. No account, no tracking.
