About Color Clash
What it is
Color Clash is a fast, friendly UNO-like card game you can play in your browser with 2–10 friends. It is its own game (not affiliated with UNO®) — the rules will be familiar if you have ever played a shedding card game: match the pile, use action cards, and race to empty your hand.
How to play
- Match the pile — play a card whose colour or number/symbol matches the active card. Can’t play? Tap the deck to draw one, then play it or skip.
- Action cards — Skip skips the next player, Reverse flips the direction, and +2 makes the next player draw two. Every special card pops a toast so the whole table sees what happened.
- Wild cards — a Wild lets you pick the next colour; Wild +4 also makes the next player draw four. Color Clash adds Wild Skip / Reverse / +2 too.
- “Last card!” — the moment you’re down to one card, tap Last card! If you forget, anyone can call you out and you draw two — but you get a few seconds’ grace first, so a slow connection never decides it. Drawing back up clears the call.
- Finish the round — empty your hand to go out. The host decides how many winners to play for: first-one-out, or keep going until a top-2 / top-3 podium is filled.
Play with friends
The host creates a game and shares a short room code or an invite link (it pre-fills the code, so friends just tap Join). Everyone plays on their own phone or laptop in real time — no signup, no install. In the lobby the host can shuffle the turn order, set the number of winners, and switch on house rules: draw-stacking, the forgot-to-call catch penalty, jump-in, 7-0 hand swaps, and draw-to-match.
Fair by design
Your hand and the deck live on the server, so no one can peek at your cards or fake a move — every play is validated against the real game state, and your stats (for the end-of-round awards) are tallied server-side too. Nothing to download; just share a link and play.
